According to our friends at the National Capital Radio and Television Museum, today was the day in 1980 when the largest TV audience up to that time (~82 million) found out that it was Sue Ellen’s sister, Kristin Shepard, who shot J.R. Ewing on Dallas.
Addendum: Actor Larry Hagman of Dallas and I Dream of Jeannie died Nov. 23 in a Dallas Hospital from complications of cancer. He was 81.
