The Record Changer was a jazz and record magazine from the 1940s and 1950s. It featured articles on jazz musicians and their music, written by people who were on the scene at the time… From 1945-1951 Gene Deitch, jazz collector and purist, was the primary graphics contributor and eventually art director for The Record Changer.” (Postwar American Visual Culture, 1945–1965)
