Formally known as "Special Collections in Mass Media and Culture," this archives holds a wide-ranging collection of audio and video recordings, books, pamphlets, periodicals, personal collections, oral histories, photographs, and scripts devoted to the history of broadcasting, journalism, mass media and culture.

Our signature collections are the Library of American Broadcasting (LAB) and the National Public Broadcasting Archives (NPBA). We're located in Hornbake Libary on the campus of the University of Maryland in College Park.
